My role involves being engaged in all areas of the organization to ensure steady progress within the agreed project scope. This includes both internal communication and direct interaction with end customers. My goal is to deliver on our promises, ensuring projects are profitable, well-executed, and defined by right first time quality, proactive behavior, and minimal firefighting. I see myself as the CEO of the project, responsible for managing all aspects of the contract, from agreed deliverables and contractual obligations to dispute resolution. I strive to achieve common goals that bring satisfaction to the entire team, support my colleagues by sharing knowledge, and maintain close communication with our customers around the world.
A typical workday for me involves overall responsibility for ensuring that projects meet client specifications and quality standards. I make sure that order inputs and client requirements are clearly defined to enable successful project execution and that all internal activities are aligned with this information. I also interpret and implement contract agreements, while spending considerable time navigating and facilitating problem-solving when delivery deadlines are at risk. My responsibilities include ensuring project profitability and cash flow, following up on budgets versus targets, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs or generate additional sales. I maintain consistent customer contact as agreed in the projects profitability targets and organize meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment. Additionally, I support installation and planning activities, assist the sales team, share knowledge across teams, and conduct follow-up meetings with end customers to ensure proper progress and a shared understanding of the projects delivery.
I work in project management within the food industry, focusing on turnkey projects that involve the design and construction of factories and production lines for the ice cream business worldwide, including well-known products like ice cream cones, cups, and many of the other delicious treats you find in the refrigerated section. My work covers a wide range of responsibilities, but in short, I take over projects from the sales phase and roll them out across the organization. This involves managing budgets, setting up smaller project teams, planning activities, coordinating internal communication and management, and maintaining close communication with the end customer, STECO management, and other stakeholders.
I'm from Vojens - and when you say Vojens, you immediately think of ice hockey, speedway, and Brdr. Gram. Brdr. Gram was once a major company in Vojens, with five different divisions: Gram Commercial, Gram Domestic, Gram Contractor, Gram Equipment, and Gram Refrigeration. At its peak, the company employed around 3,500 people. It was an incredibly exciting place with plenty of opportunities. Gram Equipment, in particular, stands out as a unique company offering a wide range of modern industrial solutions for ice cream production. After all, cooling and ice cream - what's not to like?
Has a 14-year-old daughter. Enjoy running and other sporting challenges.
