Gram operates an ISO 9001-certified management system, which supports us in producing equipment that fulfils all relevant legislation. As ice cream production lines have moving parts, pressurized items, and include refrigeration gases and electrical cabinets and components, many European Directives are "in play" (Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Machinery Directive, F-gas Directive, EMC-Directive, etc.). We design our products according to the EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design in materials compliant to the European Directives relevant for items with food contact (1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC, 10/2011/EC).
We operate under independently audited management systems and maintain third‑party assessments to recognized international expectations, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and compliance across our equipment and services. All relevant dated certificates are available below.
Our solutions are built on practical, hygienic engineering and the regulatory requirements of food and dairy production. We provide the documentation, material compliance information, and performance data customers need to align their own quality programs, saving time and resources while maintaining high standards.
Solid engineering know‑how, strong business processes, and a strong quality culture enable us to meet the complex requirements of our global partners. Our ISO 9001‑compliant processes are audited internally and externally to ensure reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement. We have chosen the internationally recognized 3rd party, Bureau Veritas, to conduct our independent audits for both ISO 9001 and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). Our designs follow EHEDG guidelines, and all equipment complies with European food‑contact material directives (1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC, 10/2011/EC), ensuring only approved materials are used to deliver safe, high‑performance solutions.

We build ice‑cream equipment around hygienic design and practical compliance, so day‑to‑day operations stay clean, consistent, and on plan—on time, in quality, in cost.
We design our equipment to meet high standards of quality, safety, and hygienic performance. To support customers in maintaining their own compliance programs, we provide clear documentation and machine‑level data on energy use, water consumption, and product‑waste performance. We are EcoVadis‑assessed and align with responsible‑sourcing expectations, and—when requested—we can supply the equipment‑level evidence needed for plant energy‑management initiatives.
